Luca Bosatta, Social Impact Partner

Luca joined Catalyst in January 2009 to develop a framework to define and measure social impact as integral part of the investment process. He has had 16 years experience in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank (1997-2008) where he was Managing Director, and Swiss Bank Corporation (1992-1997)‏ where he:

• Co-founded a market leading Portfolio Analytics platform which won numerous industry awards since 2001, most recently the Euromoney Number 1 Electronic Platform Award, 2008; and
• Headed a global client risk & portfolio advisory team. He has extensive experience advising institutional investors, asset managers and family offices.

Luca has a strong social agenda; at UBS where he founded the UK FamilyMatters network and in the Caucasus supporting entrepreneurs who have a vision to impact society through business. He is partner of the Transformational Business Network (tackling poverty through enterprise) and on the team of the Leaders Integrity Foundation (Switzerland).
